Benefits: Low potassium fruit, rich in fiber, reduces inflammation

Preparation:

  • Raw sliced (with peel)

  • Stewed apple (boiled with little cinnamon, no sugar)

  • Apple porridge mix with oats

Best Time:
✔ Mid-morning (10–11 AM)
✔ Evening snack

Combine With:

  • Oats

  • Curd (small quantity)

  • Handful soaked almonds (if potassium allowed)


🅱️ B – Bottle Gourd (Lauki)

Benefits: Kidney-friendly vegetable, high water content

Preparation:

  • Steamed bottle gourd curry

  • Lauki soup (no cream)

  • Lauki chapati mix

Best Time:
✔ Lunch vegetable
✔ Light dinner

Combine With:

  • Brown rice (small portion)

Benefits: Hydrating, low sodium

Preparation:

  • Raw salad (no salt, add lemon & pepper)

  • Cucumber mint raita (low salt curd)

Benefits: Plant protein (controlled quantity)

Preparation:

  • Thin moong dal soup

  • Dal with bottle gourd

  • Avoid thick, heavy dal
