This guide mainly supports Calcium Oxalate Stones (most common).
If stone type is different (uric acid, struvite, cystine), some changes apply.

  1. Water intake: 2.5 – 3.5 liters daily

  2. Urine output target: 2 – 2.5 liters/day

  3. Avoid dehydration

  4. Reduce excess salt

  5. Moderate protein

  7. Maintain normal calcium (do NOT completely stop calcium)
